(art re.search) was founded in 2022 to support visionaries of the art world bringing their purpose and visions into being - not least to be of service to life itself and how it unfolds on the planet in response to the challenges humanity is facing today.

Founder Sidsel Nelund (PhD) is an expert in artistic research and author of Things in Contemporary Curating: The Aesthetics of the Right to Assemble and the Need to Withdraw (2023) asking what it is we can do together that we cannot do alone? And how?

Seeing on the one hand the people in power taking too little responsibility for human and planetary well-being and seeing it being perpetuated in the art world, Nelund believes in a radical shift from submitting to dysfunctional systems in the hope for recognition and to face the dysfunction and restoring one’s relationship to it while creating, step by step, the new ways of doing things together.
